Welcome to Kromex Ink.
We are commited to producing ink to the highest quality possible. Our formulations have proved very successful over a number of years.
Our range includes the following products:
KromaStar
KromaStar is a quick drying thin film ink with a Satin gloss finish. KromaStar has excellent screen
stability and scuff resistance. Available in 20 standard non toxic colours plus standard black, black + (a really deep black)
and white, 9 lead containing alternatives available upon request, as well as a 4 colour process set (Kromatic*) and 4
metallics.
MicroFilm
A thin film ink, MicroFilm inks dry to an eggshell matt finish. An ink with excellent ‘printability’ & screen
stability. Low drag on squeegee, ideal when printing manually. Available as non toxic in the full colour range
with lead containing alternatives available on request, a range of fluorescent colours as well as the 4 colour
process set
KromaForm
A thin film ink for PETG and other thermoplastic used for vacuum forming KromaForm inks dry to a gloss
finish and will not ‘craze’ either before or after forming. Excellent ‘printability’ and screen stability for both
automatic and manual printing. Available as non toxic and very light fast in the full colour range with opaque
lead containing alternatives available on request. The Colortone colour matching system, metallic colours and
a 4 colour process set.
Super V Gloss
A thin film ink for plastics, Super V Gloss inks dry to a gloss finish. Excellent ‘printability’ & screen stability for both
automatic and manual printing. Available as non toxic in the full colour range with lead containing alternatives available on
request, The Colortone colour matching system, metallic colours and a 4 colour process set.
Super V Matt
A thin film ink for plastics, Super V Matt inks dry to a matt finish. Excellent ‘printability’ & screen stability for
both automatic and manual printing. Available as non toxic in the full colour range with lead containing
alternatives available on request, 4 metallic colours, 7 fluorescent colours and a 4 colour process set known as
Super V Trichs.
Lexac
A thin film ink for Polystyrene, Lexac inks are available in a gloss (LX) or matt (LXM) finish. Excellent
‘printability’ & screen stability for both automatic and manual printing. Available as non toxic in the full colour
range with lead containing alternatives available upon request, 4 metallics and a 4 colour process set, as well as
7 fluorescent colours. Using Lexac Cleaner 414 it is possible to clean off a print from the Styrene without
leaving any trace, particularly useful when printing expensive panels
PolyFlex
A thin film ink designed for Fluted Polyolefins for example Correx®, PolyFlex inks dry to a high satin gloss finish. Excellent
‘printability’ screen stability for both automatic and manual printing. Offering very good lightfastness, non-toxic in the full
standard colour range, (with lead containing alternatives obtainable on request) tarnish resistant metallic colours and the
florescent range of colours (Indoor use only).

KromaFlex
Thin ink specifically formulated for banner grade PVC and similar plastics where plasticiser migration is a problem. A thin

inks dry to a satin finish. Excellent ‘printability’ & screen stability for both automatic and manual printing. Available in 22
standard colours, 9 of which contain lead but are also available ‘lead free’ on request. In addition there are 4tarnish
resistant metallic colours and a process set.
VynaFlex
A thin film ink for plastics, VynaFlex inks dry to a gloss finish. Excellent ‘printability’ & screen stability for both automatic
and manual printing. Available as non-toxic in the full colour range with lead containing alternatives available on request,
The Colortone colour matching system (made to order), metallic colours and a 4 colour process set.
Fabrik
Fabrik inks are specialised products within the Kromex range. Formulated to give the highest possible
adhesion, flexibility and acceptance/recovery of high stretch. Available in 20 standard colours plus black, white
and opaque white, as well as a 4 colour process set and tarnish resistant metallics. The Fabrik colours are light
fast and resistant to weathering.
KromaSign
KromaSign is a single pack thin film screen ink with a gloss finish. It is highly durable and easy to use. No need for
primers! Metal can be formed after coating! Formulated for superb exterior durability. An ink with excellent screen
stability. Only pigments with good light fastness are used. Available in 20 standard colours plus black and white, 9 lead free
alternatives available on request and 4 tarnish resistant metallic choices. Also available for roller coating and spraying. On
plastics KromaSign can be vacuum formed due to its superior thermo plastic performance.
PolyPak
PolyPak screen inks are based on a 2 - pack epoxy resin system and will give first class adhesion and chemical resistance
when printed on many different materials. Their outstanding adhesion and resistance properties make PolyPak inks the
only choice for difficult applications. Outdoor exposure will not detract from adhesion and chemical resistance of PolyPak
inks for many months, even years. Depending on the colour used, fading and discoloration will occur slowly. However it
should be noted that surface ‘chalking’ will take place on prints exposed to the elements. This is most noticeable on dark
colours.
GlossCoat
GlossCoat is a single pack thin film screen ink with a gloss finish. Thinnable with white spirit. It is highly
durable and easy to use. An ink with good screen stability. Available in 20 standard colours plus black and
white, 9 Lead alternatives and 4 Metallic choices.
