Kromex is a manufacturer of printing inks for the screen-printing, lithographic & flexographic sectors. Kromex also provide a toll manufacturing service for the printing ink and surface coating industries, processing both our clients own dispersions or finished inks to their specification – either as a ‘one off’ job or working as the manufacturing arm of the customer.Kromex was formed in 1970 and in early 2006 major refurbishment at the Kromex site was started, to give additional production and storage space. This together with extra production machinery meant that experienced personnel from technical and office to production have also been recruited. European Dispersion was incorporated in 2005 and together, form the Kromex Group at Shepherds Grove, Stanton near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.The overall 19,000 sq ft production facility is very impressive & practical. It aims to be a quality, but cost effective manufacturing base, delivering a first class service and meeting the demands of the 21st century. The Kromex Group has land set aside for further development and is on course to be one of the most up to date manufacturing facilities in Great Britain with both ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004. Kromex also work to Lean Six Sigma methods & practices.
